Biggest Thai Food Event Launched, Amazing Thai Taste Festival

Bangkok (Thailand) – May 29, 2017 (travelindex) – TAT, together with Bangkok and 45 organizations, launches a biggest food festival in Thailand “Amazing Thai Taste Festival” on June 8-11 2017

Mr. Yutthasak Supasorn, Tourism Authority of Thailand Governor, presided over the press conference of Amazing Thai Taste Festival together with Bangkok and over 45 organizations in response to the government policy to promote Thai food, Thai fruits and Thai rice and to attract tourists to visit Thailand.

Mr. Yutthasak Supasorn said that Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) plans to launch food festival to promote image and identity of Thai food to be widely known among tourists in accordance with the government strategic plan to stimulate spending and expand middle-class to high-class market segment believing that encouragement of spending and tourism will affect distribution of income to benefit farmers and domestic economy directly or indirectly. Amazing Thai Taste Festival will be held at the Courtyard of Makkasan Airport Rail Link Station.

Attendees of the Amazing Thai Taste Festival will experience a variety of foods from street food to royal cuisine. The event area is divided into many zones such as Local Food Zone which gathers local food from all regions of Thailand; Street Food Zone which gathers famous street food from Bangkok; Local Fruit Zone, for fruit lovers; Food Innovation Zone, meet new innovation in food industry; Thai Herb Zone, for health lovers; Thai Rice Zone, demonstration of rice, herb and rice processed products. Meet booths from civil state network such as Thai Restaurant Club and popcorn stand from Major Cineplex. Enjoy Foodie Tour which will introduce you a traveling package to famous restaurants in Thailand and meet over 20 Food Trucks in the event with the use of environmentally friendly containers.

There are cooking competition events, cooking demonstration by famous chef such as Ping Surakit Khem Kaew, Pam Pichaya and Art Supamongkol, food workshops and booth from celebrities such as Kiew Kai Ka by Ken Phupoom or Unchan cuisine&bakery by Pancake Khemmanit and many others. Enjoy mini concert from famous singers such as Pam Gaia (Pony Mask), Kaimook The Voice and Tum The Star.
